...$5,000 range? Is there a good value on Cartier or Rolex self-winding types? What stores are the best? I hear it's best to buy them in Europe, but what would I need to do? I assume Cartier (and LV bags) are sold in France. What country sells Rolex? Are there any Rolex watches for around $5k?

Rado's are great beautiful watches in the $5,000 range. If it is for a female, they have a couple of watches that are pink that are absolutely gorgeous.

Buying in Europe is not a good idea. You end up getting maufacturers rejects which are technically new, but slightly flawed. For $5,000 you can get an nice Omega, or a Bulova. I recommend finding a reputable online retailer as you can save upwards of 30%. Look around. They are not hard to find.

I have a really nice Rado in my store right now. As well as a couple of Omegas and some Tag's in the 5,000 range. Come check them out. I will give you a discount for being in the forum.
