Default whats the best way to get a cruise ship job?

I applied on various cruise line websites a few months ago, but have only recieved one response and was asked to attend an interview in Canada...

It seems really difficult get get in contact with anybody who knows the exact process and people who have actually worked on a cruise ship.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
I'm actually enquiring for a good friend of mine. She is a massage therapist and would like to be able to work and travel on a cruise ship. This would help her to save up some money too.

You can always go online to each cruise ship company and apply online most likely. You may have to search for "Career" or "Employment" on their websites to find the section to apply under. And if that does not work you can do it the old fashioned way and get the telephone number from online and ask if they are hiring and ask for a job application.
Its a lot of work and dont expect to be paid a fortune. But its rewarding and you travel for free!

It depends on what type of work you are interested in. The work is hard, the hours are long and there isn't much pay. This is why many of these jobs are held by folks from the Philipines or other countries that export labor, due to job shortages at home.
