Default Does anybody know what the maximum

allowable Width of a Boat is while berthing (docking) at a luxury port?

erm well it depends on the port obviously they all have different moorings but i don't think you should build your raft over 28 feet

You would have to contact the port to see the specifications of the individual port and all other information needed to ensure a safe mooring operation.
Try the admiralty port/pilot guides for details

There is no maximum width generally, as large vessels are assigned an outside berth. If your pleasure boat has more than 16' beam however, be prepared to pay through the nose at marinas in the US and Europe. That's why catamarans avoid marinas and usually anchor in a mooring field.
