new Luxury Yachts? Hi, I have been offered a position to work as a sales manager for a well established European Luxury Yacht company. I basically need to sell their different models of yachts to high net worth individuals and/or corporations. Their yachts range from 1 million usd to 15 million usd and even more. I want to know how much is the commission (in percentage of the sales price) that a sales manager should get. I heard that the standard practice within the Luxury yacht industry is to ask the client to pay 20% up front and 80% upon delivery of the Yacht, is that true? Please anybody out there with some insight information please help me. I really need to know how much is a fair commission based on a percentage of the sales price. Thanks in advance.
