i don't think a rich person saving is a bad thing but a mega-yacht...what the hell lol. they should however use the money as charity. only a small portion if they want.

Consumption now versus consuption later. You need a little of both.

Economics does not provide moral judgements, only relative efficiency based on assumed preferrences.

Buying a luxury mega-yacht is worse I suppose. At least when you save your millions, you can still set up a foundation upon your death or do good with it in the future.

And who exactly do you think builds that mega-yacht, the Keebler Elves? Why don't you tell yacht companies that they have to fire their employees because jealous people don't want rich people to have yachts.

Money that is saved is invested to produce further economic growth and jobs.

Neither is worse unless you are one of those people who waste their time hating rich people.

a mega yaht f*** that i would get a multi screen computer and and a truck ney a new truck with tint and a system and gps and the most expensive feture as of late gasline (OK i went off topic) i thik you should use it or lose it baby!

Neither decision is bad. If the person has earned the millions he is free to do with it whatever he chooses.
