Dear people who read this letter.

First I would like to apologize for my lousy english. The school that I went to did not provide english lessons, so I had to learn english on my own by reading spiderman comics and watching american TV shows.

To make a long story short: My name is Ricky, and I'm from Europe. I am a very poor guy, and I always have been. I live a poor life, nothing turns out the way I hope, and every day is a struggle just to survive. The one thing that keeps me going is my wonderful girlfriend. She is truly my only reason to live, and there is nothing that I would not do for her. Unfortunatly I can barely buy us food, because 98% of the money that I earn from working as a cleaner, goes to our apartment rent. My girlfriend used to have a job, but she lost it because of the worldwide economical crisis, and now no one will hire. She has been looking everywhere, but no jobs are alalible..

Our situation is very dark, we can never afford new clothes, or anything fun like going to the cinema, restaurant, bowling etc. All we can do is spend our free time home in our little apartment, doing absolutely nothing. It feels like our youthfull days are beeing ruined by our horrible situation.

We have been together for 3 years now, and next winter my girlfriend will turn 20 years old. She is the kind of person who never asks for anything. But I do know that she would very much like to visit her sister who lives in Finland, in northern Europe. I would so very much love to be able to afford for her and me to travel to Finland, so that she can visit her sister. I love my girlfriend more than anything, and I'm also dreaming about buying her a nice ring and asking her to marry me some day.

But I could never afford these things. I can barely afford for us to live in our apartment. What I would like to do is to get education to become a welder, so I can earn better money. But I have no idea where to get the money needed for this education.

What I'm about to do now is very very shamefull and ugly. But I have to throw away all my dignity and ask you for a small donation of money. Just so that our life can become a little bit better than the missery we have right now.

I know how this sounds, but it maybe my last option. I'm begging on my knees. Your gift will matter to us! If lots of people send an amount of money, we might be able to start over and get a normal life.

I'm sorry to say that I cant answer to any replies to this message. I'm writing this message from an internet-cafe in the city, because I cant afford internet connection at home.. But I promise you that if i get any donations, I will come back to this forum and let u all know how much it has helped us. I will never forget what you done for us.

This is a very interesting post and sounds/looks exactly like a scam. I don't know if it is or not though.

I don't know where he lives, but why not just get a student loan?
