There still places where it goes far, such as areas in South East Asia.

Try Thailand. Great place. Wonderful people and about 40 Baht per dollar which is great. You can actually have a luxurious vacation for about half of what you'd spend elsewhere, perhaps even less.

England. I just got back from there, and the exchange was 1.75 dollar to the pound. Granted it was cheaper once I got there, but I didn't know that. It was $1.47 to the pound.
