You can also look at www.sawadee.com it got a lot of good information. I also found that the price they list for a hotel room, is the same price charged if you arrive at the front desk of the hotel and asked.

if you like tranquility and cost is no object, the Amanpuri is hands down the choice. no tv in the rooms, but nothing else is missing...
