Default person overboard on a royal carribean cruise?

A friend of mine heard that late last week there was another case of someone on a royal carribean cruise that was missing an assumed to have gone overboard. I was wondering if anyone else had heard the same thing since I can't seem to find out anything about in on the web. She said she heard it on CNN.

Curious question, does it have a point. I presume you mean what would happen if someone was overboard, and the answer surely is the coastguard get's called in the cruiseship's own boats are unable to retrieve them....

Happens on all cruise lines!

Many crimes are committed on cruise ships be careful USA does not have jurisdiction to do anything about it!

Go in numbers and do all meals/activities together with the people you are with!

I am sorry that this happened.

On a lighter note, there is a very good book that deals with the subject of going overboard. It is called "Skinny Dip" by Carl Hiaasen.
